despite being seen always near flowers, these hummingbird are excellent spider hunters. spiders run from anna's hummingbird and if they escape, they lose the bug trapped in it's web.

i didn’t know but according to the locals, Mount St. Helens is not visible for most of the year. i guess i got lucky this summer. this is the mountain during sun set with lots of clouds starting to encroach on the landscape!

I can’t believe it only takes me 2hrs to get up to this spot. The 504 is in great conditions and you can take it all the way up to coldwater lake.
