Least Terns aka Charrancito are persistent hunters. They will stay flying above the small fish, diving into the water till they catch it. Least Terns nest on the ground which means stray dogs and cats have an easy breakfast. These birds also nest in

when you visit Puerto Rico for the beaches you really have to plan around the Sargassum. on 4th of july the beaches were so full, not because this is an island full of patriot but because large portions of the island's coastline are swamped in seawee

Ruiseñor aka Northern Mockingbird. This is a funny bird that can learn over 100 song in a life time. So good of a performer that people started caging them for their songs in the 1800s.

This Pelican likes to nest in colonies. It prefers a secluded area, like mangrove islands. Puerto Rico is ideal for them, since it has been a colony for over 500yrs! 😎
